ORBIS provides key support to NAVSEA’s Veteran and Wounded Warrior Program Office (VWWPO) which strives to match service-disabled veterans with employment opportunities within NAVSEA’s organization of 33 field activities.

ORBIS facilitates the hiring of Veterans & Wounded Warriors (VWW), including:

· Planning, organizing, and participating in Veteran-focused Job Fairs and other recruiting venues

· Coordinating with transition units and military treatment facilities (USMC, USA, USN, USAF)

· Working with private industry for Veteran & WW referral and placement (e.g., Operation IMPACT)

· Promoting internships and other pathways programs for Veterans & WWs

· Planning, organizing, and participating in the annual DON Summit/Career Fair

ORBIS aides the transition and retention of hired Veterans & Wounded Warriors through support of:

· Mentor, Assist, Train to Excel, and Support (MATES) Initiative

· Veteran Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

ORBIS provides trainer and training to educate NAVSEA Enterprise, including:

· Providing training and support to supervisors and work centers

· Planning, organizing, and participating in Field Activity visits
