ORBIS Awarded NAVSEALOGCEN Support Contract

July 15, 2016 – ORBIS was awarded a three year $13 million contract to support Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN), Mechanicsburg, PA. Under this task order contract, we will provide In-service logistics, maintenance and supplier quality Information Technology (IT) support services to NAVSEALOGCEN and their customers.

NAVSEALOGCEN is an Echelon V Field Activity for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC. NAVSEALOGCEN serves as a technical agent for developing, maintaining, and assessing life-cycle logistics, maintenance, and supplier quality support policies, procedures, processes, Information Technology applications, including web applications and systems.

ORBIS Awarded BPA With U.S. Army Through Benét Laboratories

July 11, 2016 – ORBIS was awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) W15QKN-16-A-0121 to provide instrumentation and programming support for ballistic testing and R&D application components for the U.S. Army through Benet Laboratories in Waterliet, NY through July of 2021. This BPA has an unlimited ceiling, which means the contract value ($) is not capped. ORBIS will provide data acquisition systems, programming of test systems with logical user interface, reconfiguration of existing systems and schematics for integration of measurement devices. This work will be performed at ORBIS Labs in Mt. Pleasant SC, Benet Laboratories at Watervliet NY, Picatinny Arsenal NJ, and Adelphi Proving Ground in Adelphi MD, and Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois.
Benét Laboratories is the U.S. Army’s design authority for large caliber cannon and cannon safe life considerations. A research, development, and engineering facility, Benét is responsible for the full life-cycle of mortars, tank guns, and artillery cannon for howitzers; provides tank turret support for ABRAMS and Crew Cooling for ABRAMS, Bradley and LAV combat vehicles; and provides support to the Army’s industrial base at the Watervliet Arsenal.

ORBIS Awarded LCS Support Contract

July 8, 2015 – ORBIS as a part of the Booz Allen Hamilton Team was awarded the professional support services contract to provide engineering, logistics and program management support to PEO LCS PMS (403-505) under SEAPORT-e. This is a five-year $20.5 million contract to support PEO LCS as they build, test and deploy Littoral Combat Ships (LCS), a class of relatively small surface vessels intended for fleets operations in the littoral zone.
This is a significant win for ORBIS, as it expands our presence in supporting the US Navy major acquisition programs.

ORBIS (Prime) wins 3 year NSWCCD Philly contract

Date:  29 September, 2015 – ORBIS was awarded a three year Prime contract valuing $16.7 million contract to provide Submarine Program Engineering, Technical, Logistics and Program Management support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Philadelphia, Code 913.

BAE/ORBIS wins Towed Array Handling Equipment Follow-on

Date: 11 September, 2015 – ORBIS was on the BAE’s Weapon Systems Sustainment Team awarded the Towed Array Handling Equipment (TAHE) follow-on contract under SEAPORT-e. This is a five-year $16.2 million contract supports the refurbishment of the TAHE Systems, in which the team will provide engineering, logistics, configuration management, supply chain management, production technicians and quality. The ORBIS Labs will provide automated test equipment and software programming support.

ORBIS (Prime) Awarded $18.9 Million Contract to Provide Scientific and Engineering Services for the US ARMY Aberdeen Test Center

Date:  August 26, 2015 – Orbis has been awarded an $18,930,590 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with options for scientific and engineering support to develop instrumentation systems and test facilities for the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC). Work will be performed at the ATC in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland and contractor facilities in Arizona, Maryland and South Carolina. We are proud to have the following partners; Airtronics, Boeing, Data Matrix Solutions (DMS), ETSVETS, Millenium Corporation, ODME Solutions LLC and WisEngineering. In this role, we will develop and enhance instrumentation designs, fabricate small quantity instrumentation prototypes, provide instrumentation user manuals, and design and install test facilities. ORBIS will provide routine engineering services in support of testing activities and test facilities and instrumentation; on-site instruction and user manuals for proper use and operation of the equipment and systems it designs, fabricates or installs; and document lessons learned in the course of design, fabrication, and testing of instrumentation for consideration by the government subject matter experts for future designs. The contract is worth $18.9 Million for the first two years with a total value of $47.5 M if all options are exercised over 5 years.
