ORBIS Awarded Follow-On Task Order With The Navy’s RADIAC Program
April 7, 2017. ORBIS Sibro, Inc. (ORBIS) announced it has recently been awarded a follow-on multi-million dollar task order under its NAVSEA SEAPORT prime contract to provide In-Service Engineering Agent support to the Navy’s RADIAC Program. ORBIS will continue to support this vital program by providing cradle-to-grave support for over 70,000 pieces of equipment used by nearly every ship and shore command in the Navy.
ORBIS managers, engineers and technicians are excited to be able to continue the work we have been doing for over 10 years. As the RADIAC ISEA, ORBIS is assigned responsibility for program management, engineering, logistics, research and development, acquisition, equipment installation, business and administrative support, as well as administrative oversight of the calibration laboratories that service the equipment.
Charlie Grabenstein, ORBIS’ Chief Operating Officer, expressed excitement about the opportunity to continue to support the RADIAC Program. “We are excited to win this follow on work and are very proud of our record of support of NAVSEA and the RADIAC Program in particular,” Grabenstein stated. “ORBIS has supported the Department of Defense since 2000, and the RADIAC work has always been one of our core competencies,” he said.
